You are using OBIEE 11g with Essbase as the data source.
When the filter is "is greater than", BIEE will generate improper MDX query that include condition "("XXXXX" < [Period].CurrentMember.MEMBER_Name OR "XXXXX" <[Period].CurrentMember.MEMBER_ALIAS)".

set [_Period3] as 'Filter(Generate({[_Period2]},[Period].currentmember.children),(("XXXXX" < [Period].CurrentMember.MEMBER_Name OR "XXXXX" <[Period].CurrentMember.MEMBER_ALIAS)))'

It seems like applying filter for both Alias and Member; and returns incorrect data.

Deselect the check box "Use unqualified member name for better performance", filter doesn't work as expected.

In this example, member 2016W01 is defined as Week1 (Alias), 2016W02 is defined as Week2, and 2016W11 is defined as Week11.

Set a Filter on "Gen3,Period" is greater than "2016W11."

    Result is Week1, Week2, Week3, Week4, Week5, Week6, Week7, Week8, Week9, Week10, Week11, Week12 and so on.

    The result should be as Week12, Week13, Week14, Week15, Week16, Week17, Week18, Week19, Week20 and so on.
