OBIEE Agents Taking Too Long To Save In Catalog.

Agents taking too long to save in catalog.
Saving a new Agent or an existing agent with a new name ( using save as) within a user folder is taking a long time ( 70 sec). Please find details as below:
a. Ibot File is created instantaneously in the server on hitting Save - DeliversIBotEditor.save is called and executes in 1 second (bifoundation/web/appv2/res/b_mozilla/delivers/deliverseditors.js)
b. The save dialog box however remains open as the following HTTP request is taking the entire 70+ seconds to execute
c. Once the retrieveibotinfo is completed, the dialog box is closed.
Catalog size is about 4GB with ~7000 users.User folder size is 1.5GB.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1: Login to catalog and create a new agent.
2: Save the agent in My Folders
3. It is taking a long time ( 70 sec)
