Symptoms
Dataload/ dimension build from SQL Interface fails after upgrading the database from Oracle 11g DB to 12c DB.
Following error is shown in the Essbase application log:
OK/INFO - 1021013 - ODBC Layer Error: [08001] ==> [[DataDirect][ODBC Oracle Wire Protocol driver][Oracle]Connection Dead.].
OK/INFO - 1021041 - Connection String is [DSN=<DSN>;UID=>UID>;PWD=<PWD>;].
OK/INFO - 1021014 - ODBC Layer Error: Native Error code [4294967292].
Changes
The Oracle database was upgraded from Oracle 11g to Oracle 12c.
