OBIEE 12c ADID Case Sensitive To Map Application Role

Symptoms
On Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition 11g/12c (OBIEE)
- Had successfully Added new LDAP authentication provider.
- Userss from the ADID was able to login succesfully.
- Have mapped the user to application roles.
- i.e. user1 map to app1
- user2 map to app1
- But when checking under my acount --> roles and catalog
- user 1 --> authenticated user and BI consumer
- (app1 application role was missing)
- user 2 --> authenticated user and BI consumer
- (app1 application role was missing)
- on the LDAP the user1 was set to USER1, user2 was set USER2
