OBIEE 12c: BI Administration Tool Generates Error When Update Row Count

Symptoms

You have set the tnsnames.ora file for OBIEE 12c Client Tool as described in <Note:2119009.1> and can import the metadata successfully. But when you Update Row Count of the physical tables,

the following error returns.

 

From the BI Client Tool log file, you can see the ORA-12154 error.
