User Account Missing Access to Features and Functions That Other User Accounts With the Same Identical Provisioning Do Have Access (Doc ID 2242255.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 30, 2019

Applies to:

Hyperion Financial Management - Version to [Release 11.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Newly provisioned Active or Native Directory user account is unable to view "Task Lists" within the left navigation menu. Other features/functions such as the Consolidation Menu are missing from the header options.  Also, when the user account successfully signs into Workspace and accesses an HFM application, the features/functions appear to only partially render and do not responded when the affected user interacts with them.

When compared to other user accounts with the same provisioning the affected and non-affected accounts are provisioned identically.  If an affected user account logs into another workstation, the impacting behavior is still observed.  If the impacted user account's provisioning is removed and then re-applied the impacting behavior still persists.  Also, if more than one HFM application is available, the impacting behavior may be seen in one application, but work without issue in another application.
