Symptoms

On OBIEE 11.1.1.6.x on MS Windows with a 2-node cluster and a shared directory on a 3rd node

The bi_server1 Managed Server fails to start and the following are observed in the bi_server1.log file:-

<Error> <Store> ... <BEA-280061> <The persistent store "BipJmsStore" could not be deployed: java.io.IOException: [Store:280044]The file store directory "\\<Node3>\E$\BIPublisher\jms" does not exist

OBIS fails to start and the following is observed in the nqserver.log file:-

[OracleBIServerComponent] [ERROR:1] [] [] [ecid: ] [tid: 1738] [nQSError: 47024] The Oracle BI Server participates in a cluster but errors were found in the cluster configuration file. [[
[nQSError: 47051] The Oracle BI Server is specified as participating in a cluster, but global cache file storage location, \\<Node3>\e$\OBIEE\Cluster_Cache, is invalid.
