Workspace Page Is Not Responding After Successful Login

When accessing EPM (either Workspace or Planning), the web session becomes unresponsive. If the unresponsive session is left up and the user tries to access EPM again, the application comes back as expected. If they then close the unresponsive session, and go back to the second session, it is now unresponsive.
When they close the unresponsive session, they get an error from IE saying the session ended unexpectedly, and it tries to log them in again.
This issue only occurs when using Internet Explorer, there are no issues with using FireFox.
If they open a link directly to an Interactive Reporting in Workspace, it opens successfully, with no problems.
