Unable To Start All EPM Services Due To Insufficient Memory (Doc ID 2247344.1)

Symptoms

You have the following EPM components installed on a single Linux server:

1. Foundation
2. Reporting & Analysis Framework
3. Calc Manager
4. Essbase Administration Services
5. Planning
6. Financial Reporting
7. WebLogic

When attempting to start these services, the first six run successfully. The final service you launch fails to start, regardless of the order or which of the services you kick off last. The server has sufficient RAM to handle the configuration.

Log files show this error: "java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Resource temporarily unavailable in tsStartJavaThread (lifecycle.c:1097)".
