Goal

Accessibility Mode is also known as Section 508, an amendment to the United States Workforce Rehabilitation Act of 1973, is a federal law mandating that all electronic and information technology developed, procured, maintained, or used by the federal government be accessible to people with disabilities.

OBIEE, as any other Oracle product, is fully compliant with that law and Accessibility Mode can be enabled or disabled by each user in Analytics -> My Account -> Preferences tab:

As an OBIEE administrator, you may want to set the Accessibility Mode for some users to On (default values is Off). This documents a method(s) to perform this operation.

It is not possible to remove the option from each user to set the Accessibility Mode. Every user would always have the option to set it to the desired value under My Account -> Preferences.
