Multiple xfmdatasource.exe Processes Exist for the Same Financial Management Application (Doc ID 2255759.1)

Hyperion Financial Management applications were not successfully loading when end-users were attempting to open them.  Financial Management (FM) Administrator observed that the FM Application Server contained multiple xfmdatasource.exe processes running for the same FM application.  This was validated by reviewing the xfm.odl.<appName>.Log in which there are entries that contain Process Ids (pid) that are running concurrently.

This behavior can be observed in the xfm.odl.<appName>.Log by tracking the value [pid: ].  The result will indicate two separate [pid: ] values which are co-mingled within the logging activity.  Here is an example:
