Connecting to Essbase from Essbase Administration Services (EAS) Console or Smart View is taking a long time to connect, appearing as if Essbase is hanging. Once connected, performance is back to normal. Connecting using MaxL may work fine.
Checked the User Directories defined in Shared Services. One of the User Directories defined was not working, when selecting the User or Group tab, it would eventually error out:
EPMCSS-05138:Failed to validate Security configuration. Failed to connect. Invalid values for host or port. Enter valid value(s).
