OBIEE 11g: Getting "[nQSError: 27046] Inaccessible column:" Error When Trying To Access Interactive Dashboard (Doc ID 2262998.1)

Symptoms

The following error occurs trying to access a dashboard:


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:


1. Log in to Analytics.
2. Attempt to view a dashboard.
3. Error nQSError: 27046] Inaccessible column: "Payables Invoicing Business Unit"."Payables Invoicing Business Unit Name".
User has been assigned APAnalyst and APManager groups.
4. If BIAdministrators group is assigned to the user, the dashboard can be seen, but this is not an acceptible workaround.

 

The user getting the error has been granted the APAnalyst and APManager application roles.
If the user is granted the BIAdministrator application role, then the dashboard can be accessed.
