OBIEE 12c: ssl.sh|cmd Report Report Fails With Multiple Ping Failures (Doc ID 2270711.1)

Symptoms

The Weblogic Node manager, Admin server, bi_server1 managed server, and all BI processes are up and running.

SSL is working in Weblogic, EM, and OBIEE Analytics. The HTTPS URL's are working and  each can be successfully connected to.

However, when running the ssl.sh report, you see the following error:
