Error When Updating Host in EPM Registry "The host name {server1} has been updated to the canonical name {server1}" (Doc ID 2275165.1)

The epmsys_registry.bat(sh) command is not updating the EPM registry with new_host when issued:

The new_host is an alias of old_host and they share the same IP address.  When the above command is run, it errors with:

The host name {server1} has been updated to the canonical name {server1}

Re-ran the epmsys_registry.bat/sh to generate the registry.html file and confirmed that old host {server1} is not updated to new host {server2}.


 Aliases were created for each existing host and alias names will be used instead of host names.
