SIL_DomainGeneral_CM_Source Fails To Insert Incremental Data When A New Datasource Source Is Added (Doc ID 2278173.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 03, 2019

Applies to:

Business Intelligence Applications Consumer - Version 11.1.1.8.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

New data source added is EBS 12.2 and existing sources were EBS 11.5.10 and EBS 12.1.3.

Issue: SIL_DomainGeneral_CM_Source fails to insert incremental data when a new datasource source is added.

Description:
SIL_DomainGeneral_CM_Source uses C_DOMAIN_MEMBER_SRC_INT_VL.LAST_UPDATE_DATE when doing incremental load based on below mentioned where clause. But this date doesn't get updated when we add a new data source in BIACM.
This causes incremental load to miss out on Domains values for newly added datasource.

RUN_FULL_INCREMENTAL('#IS_INCREMENTAL',1=1,C_DOMAIN_MEMBER_SRC_INT_VL.LAST_UPDATE_DATE >= TO_DATE_VAR('#LAST_EXTRACT_DATE'))
