BDD 1.3.2: The Bookmarks Section for a Project Never Loads or Displays (Doc ID 2279125.1)

Last updated on JUNE 21, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Big Data Discovery - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Login to Studio (/bdd) ... Open a project ... Click on the "Click to view bookmarks" icon.  See the Bookmarks pane will open, but the Bookmarks section 'spins' / keeps loading and never displays, so you cannot access existing bookmarks or add a new bookmark.

This issue had been encountered previously on another Project because a dataset had been removed from the Project, modified and then added back to the Project; and was fixed via <Patch 25269435> - UNABLE TO CREATE A BOOKMARK ON BDD PROJECT as per: BDD 1.3 Unable To Create A Bookmark On BDD Project (Doc ID 2228471.1).

However, no such dataset changes have been made to the currently affected Project and for which bookmarks had been previously created and working.

In the bdd-studio.log file, the following error is observed:
