BIEE: OPMN Process Uses More Than 90% CPU (Doc ID 2282587.1)

Symptoms

  1. You notice that the services are unresponsive
  2. You try to restart the BI components (either from the Enterprise Manager or from the command line) and cannot stop them
  3. You check the CPU usage (using the top command) and notice that the opmn process is taking more than 90% of the CPU:
