Symptoms

ETL failing while updating W_EMPLOYEE_ADDL_D table due to duplicate records
 
Task SIL_Employee_Addl_Attrib_Dimension fails during incremental load run.

 

Example of ODI Session log error:

ODI-1217: Session SILOS_SIL_EMPLOYEE_ADDL_ATTRIB_DIMENSION (15895855) fails with return code 20942. ODI-1226: Step Diagnostics Raise Exception fails after 1 attempt(s).

ODI-1232: Procedure Diagnostics Raise Exception execution fails. ODI-1228: Task Diagnostics Raise Exception (Procedure) fails on the target ORACLE connection BIAPPS_DW. Caused By: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-20942:

ODI-1228: Task SIL_Employee_Addl_Attrib_Dimension_Insert.W_EMPLOYEE_ADDL_D (Integration) fails on the target ORACLE connection BIAPPS_DW. Caused By: java.sql.SQLSyntaxErrorException:

ORA-00904: "DATASOURCE_NUM_ID": invalid identifier at oracle.jdbc.driver.T4CTTIoer.processError(T4CTTIoer.java:462) at oracle.jdbc.driver.T4CTTIoer.processError(T4CTTIoer.java:405)
