OBIEE 12c: Behavior Of $-N Syntax In New Calculated Item Differs Between 11g And 12c (Doc ID 2305432.1)

When you set $-N(e.g. "$-1 - $-2") in New Calculated Item, the results displayed differ between 11g and 12c.

In this test case;
1) Data exists only until 2002/1.
2) At 11g, there is no data from 2002/2, so the result is 2001/2 - 2000/2 at Previous year difference.
    At 12c, even though there is no data after 2002/2, it seems to be calculated like 2002/2(data is "0") - 2001/2 at Previous year difference.
