On Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) V12c

Write Back is failing if special characters are used in Non-writable (non Related) columns.

Error:-

Write Back Error
An error occurred while writing to the server. Please check to make sure you
have entered appropriate values. If the problem persists, contact your system
administrator.
Sax parser returned an exception. Message: Invalid character (Unicode: 0x1A),
Entity publicId: , Entity systemId: , Line number: 1, Column number: 249
