OBIEE 12c: Graphs Are Not Getting Displayed With ERROR "java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException" (Doc ID 2321701.1)

Symptoms

After installing OBIEE 12.2.1.0.0 on RHEL 7.3 or Oracle Linux 7, Unable to view graphs in reports or even charts in EM (i.e) like Availability status pie chart of OBI components.

Noticed following error captured in <Oracle_Home>/user_projects/domains/bi/servers/obijh1/logs/jh.log

[ERROR] [] [oracle.bi.nanserver.svs.viewgen] [tid: 14] [ecid: xxx] oracle.bi.nanserver.fwk.exception.BISvsException: java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException:0
