OBIEE 12c: SAML SSO Integration Is Timed Out After 3600 Seconds Regardless Of Activity (Doc ID 2326019.1)

Users are getting timed out and have to re-authenticate to the SAML2 provider after 1 hour. The OBIEE ClientSessionExpireMinutes setting in the instanceconfig.xml is being ignored. There are no error messages.

Followed the instructions as per the Doc ID 2112075.1
