Symptoms

When connecting to an Oracle Applications mode EUL from Discoverer Desktop, an error is encountered:

Unable to connect to: your_user@your_alias
Failed to connect, maybe due to an invalid definition of GWYUID



In a Spanish language PC, the error is:

No se ha podido conectar a: usuario@alias
No se puede conectar, posiblemente debido a una definicion no valida de GWYUID 
de aplicaciones Oracle.
