OBIEE 12.2.1.X Reports and Dashboards Using Dynamic Repository Variables Not Refreshing and Showing Incorrect Data (Doc ID 2338889.1)

When running OBIEE 12.2.1.2 or 12.2.1.3 reports and dashboards that use dynamic repository variables, the analysis initially runs with correct values. Then after some time, if the report is run again, some of the cell values start to show null where previously there were values present.  The problem seems to happen randomly.

This report was initially created in an OBIEE 11.1.1.7.1 Windows environment and then migrated to new OBIEE 12.2.1.3 environment on a Linux server (Exalytics).  In the original OBIEE 11.1.1.7 environment, the report worked correctly.
The same issue was also seen when the report was run in OBIEE 12.2.1.2.

This problem occurs when dynamic variables are not refreshing as expected and can occur on new reports and migrated reports.
