Symptoms
In OBIEE 12g, the following message is written into Operating System event log (e.g. Application Event Log in Windows, /var/log/messages in Linux/Unix) every time while starting Cluster Controller.
[71008] Cluster Controller started. Version: 12.2.1.X.0.
Nothing is really wrong on the system and process is started fine.
