OBIEE 12c: You Are Not Authorized To Alter Log Configuration (Doc ID 2369583.1)

Symptoms

You can not change log configuration via Analytics Administration even with <USERNAME> user who has permissions.

 

1. Log in with <USERNAME> (Admin user).
2. Navigate to Administration page.
    http://<HOSTNAME>:9502/analytics/saw.dll?Admin
3. Navigate to Administration > Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Reload Log Configuration
4. Changed the configuration from Default to any value (ex.Incident)
5. Error returns.
