Symptoms
When users are trying to Extract Data from Period Dimension(i.e Feb) through Import Process, it errors out:
"Cannot perform cube view operation. Essbase Error(1260046): Unknown Member [Period].[Feb] used in query" Hyperion Financial Data Quality Management, Enterprise Edition(FDMEE).
In this case, Customer has Source as Essbase ASO application, Period dimension has Jan - Dec members in base (YearTotal) hierarchy. And member "Feb" is also shared 11 times in YTD hierarchy (Feb_Ytd - Dec_YTD). When user tries to run the Import Process, it errors out as mentioned above.
