Symptoms
Attempting to run certain commands with the MaxL client results in parse errors. For example:
MAXL> set echo_mode off;
essmsh error: Parse error near off;
MAXL> set column_header on;
essmsh error: Parse error near on;
MAXL> set column_separator "|";
essmsh error: Parse error near "|";
