Hyperion Planning: After Applying Hyperion Planning 11.1.2.4.008 Patch Set Update (PSU) on EPM 11.1.2.4.900 Install, the Planning Version in Workspace Still Display the Planning Version as 11.1.2.4.0 (11.1.2.4.0.2849) (Doc ID 2418747.1)

Symptoms

After applying Hyperion Planning 11.1.2.4.008 Patch Set Update (PSU) on EPM 11.1.2.4.900 install, the Hyperion Planning version in Workspace still display the Planning version as 11.1.2.4.0 (11.1.2.4.0.2849)

The Hyperion Planning and other product versions are displayed from Workspace Help menu --> About Oracle Enterprise Performance Management System Workspace, Fusion Edition. Then when clicking in the Show Details at the bottom of the pop-up window and scrolling down to the Hyperion Planning version, the Hyperion Planning version was shown as  Oracle Hyperion Planning  Fusion Edition - 11.1.2.4.0.2849 which is the base 11.1.2.4.0 version

Changes

 

After EPM 11.1.2.4.900 install the following patches were applied

Oracle Hyperion Planning Release 11.1.2.4.008 Patch Set Update

Hyperion Essbase Administration Services 11.1.2.4.016 Patch Set Update

Hyperion Analytic Provider Services 11.1.2.4.018 Patch Set Update

Hyperion Essbase Studio 11.1.2.4.016 Patch Set Update

Hyperion Essbase 11.1.2.4.018 Patch Set Update: Essbase Server

Hyperion Essbase 11.1.2.4.018 Patch Set Update: RTC

Oracle Hyperion Shared Services Release 11.1.2.4.002, 11.1.2.4.003, 11.1.2.4.004, 11.1.2.4.005, 11.1.2.4.006, 11.1.2.4.007

Oracle Hyperion Calculation Manager 11.1.2.4.013

And mandatory Patches for ADF and Web Logic were applied.

ADF Patch: 25113405

WLS Patch: 27395085 SU Patch [GFWX]

After applying the patches the deployment tmp files and folders were deleted for all deployments, for example folders and files under the following directory for Hyperion Planning 

/opt/app/oracle/product/EPM/Middleware/user_projects/domains/EPMSystem/servers/Planning0/tmp
