Goal

It is frequently asked how one can perform conditional formatting with Data Visualization, similar to the way you can perform this in Analytics.  Conditional format can also known as "stoplight formatting", "color coding", "scorecard" or "conditional highlighting".

This document will explain how to perform a simple conditional expression format for a table or pivot table visualization.

 

Note: Per the public roadmap a new conditional formatting framework will be introduced post Oracle Analytics 6.0
