OBIEE 12c: The Printable HTML Output Of A Dashboard Shows The "of numberOfPages" String Instead Of A Value (Doc ID 2470773.1)

Symptoms

Add a Footer to a Dashboard with the contents: @{pageNumber} of @{numberOfPages}

Print the Dashboard to PDF: See the @{numberOfPages} is replaced with the correct value.

Print the Dashboard to HTML: See the @{numberOfPages} is not replaced with the correct value.

For example:-

1. Create a New > Dashboard
   1.1 Add 2 columns to the dashboard, with an analysis in each column
   1.2 On the 2nd column > Properties > Break ... Select "Page Break with Column Break"
   1.3 In Tools > Print Options ... Check ON "Include Footer" > Click [Edit] and enter:
                     @{pageNumber} of @{numberOfPages}

2. Run the dashboard (with "Display in browser when applicable" checked OFF in Edit Footer, which is the default setting)
   2.1 In the /analytics UI, see no page numbers in the dashboard (which is expected and correct)
   2.2 On Page Options > Print > Printable PDF:
                See "Page 1 of 2" in the footer of page 1 of the PDF file.
                See "Page 2 of 2" in the footer of page 2 of the PDF file.
   2.3 On Page Options > Print > Printable HTML:
                See "Page 1 of @{numberOfPages}" in the footer of column 1.
                See "Page 2 of @{numberOfPages}" in the footer of column 2.
