OBIEE 11g: OBIEE Analyses Does Not Display Measure Values Without Filters (Doc ID 2472517.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 27, 2019

Applies to:

Business Intelligence Suite Enterprise Edition - Version 11.1.1.9.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

OBIEE Analyses does not display measure values when there are no filters defined in the report.

Example :

created a simple Analysis in OBIEE with two dimension columns , <DIMENSIONCOLUMN1> and <DIMENSIONCOLUMN2>, and two measure columns <MEASURECOLUMN1> and <MEASURECOLUMN2>

The issue is that OBIEE returns data with some values missing for <MEASURECOLUMN1>

If we add an extra filter of<DIMENSIONCOLUMN2> on those specific values of the dimension that have missing<MEASURECOLUMN1> values, then the Analysis will return the data without missing value on that email names.
