Application Deployment Fails during EPM Configuration with Error: "Segmentation Fault (core dumped) " (Doc ID 2487612.1)

Symptoms

WebLogic domain creation and java application deployment fails during EPM configuration with  Segmentation fault (core dumped) error in the configtool.log when default Jrockit installed withEPM is used

The error in the /Oracle/Middleware/user_projects/epmsystem1/diagnostics/logs/config/configtool.log is

Running wlst.sh and other WebLogic commands and scripting tools also fails with error "Segmentation fault (core dumped)"
