Symptoms

Prompt values do not refresh  for the custom groups when
used in the pivot view/table view prompt in OBIEE 12.2.1.3.

This is working correctly in 11.1.1.7

Documentation followed to create the groups and calculated items:
https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/paas/bi-cloud/bilug/manipulating-members-using-groups-and-calculated-items.html#GUID-58EF86B8-B73F-49A3-8AC6-C711FE068855

This reproduces in 12.2.1.3 as follows:

1) In Answers, select these dimensions:

P1 Product
D1 Office
C1 Customer Name
1-Revenue
2-Billed Quantity

2) Create a Pivot table.

On the Pivot,
P1 Product was moved to Pivot table prompts
C1 Customer Name and D1 Office are on Rows
1-Revenue and 2-Billed Quantity are on the Columns

3) Create 3 Column groups against P1 Product by choosing the New Group
icon

(ie: Abel, Baker and Charlie)

Use various products for each Column group

Those groups were saved in My Folders section

4) In Pivot table, under Selection Steps, for P1 Product

Choose Start with All Members and modified it to include
Action: Start with Group or Calculated Item

  Include Abel, Baker and Charlie

5) Open the Pivot table and in prompt section, my
choices were Abel, Baker and Charlie with default to Abel

However, if you try to change the prompt to Baker or Charlie, it does not
work.

The prompt always remains with Abel and its values
