Symptoms

Unable to make any changes to the RPD on Production 12c. Whether you make a change or not, the RPD throws bunch of errors while running the “Consistency Check Manager”. This only happens when you run “Consistency Check Manager” in online mode. Also if you add a new field and then run a “Consistency Check Manager”, it throws an error saying “The oracle bi server is not running. Repository had to be closed.” and then the Administration console crashes and closes without saving anything.

  1. RPD does not pass the “Consistency Check Manager” and throws errors “The oracle bi server is not running. Repository had to be closed.” before you make any change in online mode of RPD
  2. If you make a change, not only the check manager throws errors, the entire admin console crashes and closes the online RPD which is open.

Error Message:
Business Model Usage Tracking:
[nQSError:10065] An ODBC function call is out of sequence.
[nQSError:37002] Admin procedure request failed. The server may be down.
