Symptoms
Copying multiple catalog objects from one catalog folder to another does not overwrite the objects with same name. This is not the case in OBIEE 11g.
For Example:
Let us say there are 2 folders F1 and F2 in OBIEE 12c Catalog. F1 has report1 and report2 saved inside it. Similarly F2 has an updated copy of repor1,report2 and additionally report3. While copying all 3 objects from F2 and pasting it under F1, then it is observed that only report3 is copied. Report1 and report2 are not overwritten by the updated versions of the same from Folder F2.
