Symptoms

On Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition 12.2.1.4.0 version, Data Visualization

Oracle Data Visualization(ODV) project with a pivot view containing aggregation methods in properties, when exported to CSV shows wrong results.

In Data element properties:-

1. By default, the Aggregation Method is set in Auto.

Export the pivot table into CSV file. The result in CSV is same as shown in ODV.

In the above screenshot both canvas and CSV are showing same values.

2. When the Aggregation Method is changed as Average by Year month id, the Average by month pivot table is shown correctly in ODV.

However the data values and table layout are not as same in exports to CSV when compared with the results on OVD.

In the above screenshot both canvas and CSV are showing different values.

3. When the display is changed as into Percent Of Row Values, the percentage of row pivot table  is shown correctly in ODV.

However the data values and table layout are not as same in exports to CSV when compared with the results on OVD.

In the above screenshot both canvas and CSV are showing different values.

Issue occurs with the use case 2,3 mentioned above when pivot view is exported to CSV files.
