Always specify multiSubnetFailover=true when connecting to the availability group listener of a SQL Server 2012 (11.x) availability group or a SQL Server 2012 (11.x) Failover Cluster Instance. multiSubnetFailover=true configures Microsoft JDBC Driver for SQL Server to provide faster detection of and connection to the (currently) active server. Possible values are true and false.
