OBIEE 12c : Analysis Based On MS AS Cube With Column In Date Format, Gives An Error "ErrorCode 3238658132" (Doc ID 2556536.1)

Steps

Imported MS AS cube structure into RPD.

One of the fields contains a date type column. When this column is extended to the presentation layer and then to the report, the following error will appear:-

[nQSError:43119] Query Failed: XML/A error returned from the server:Fault code:"3238658132". Fault string:"Execution of the managed stored Procedure DateValue failed with the following error: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.Conversion from string " "to type 'Date' is not valid.
