Last updated on OCTOBER 01, 2024

Applies to:

Business Intelligence Server Enterprise Edition - Version 12.2.1.2.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After running out of disk space on the domain volume, addressed this issue to make sure there is plenty of free space.

However, since that occurred, you are unable to start or stop OBIEE using the start.sh and stop.sh scripts, and unable to check status using status.sh script.

Scripts status.sh/stop.sh/start.sh are hanging when executed. You need to kill the process in order to cancel and then start/stopp using Enterprise manager and WebLogic Console.

Changes

The disk ran out of space on the domain volume. Space issue was taken care of to make sure there was plenty of free space.
