Symptoms
When trying to add an FCCS Application in an on-premise FDMEE instance, the below error appears. Users will enter the Cloud URL, username, password and domain correctly, but the credentials aren’t accepted.
Error in retrieving applications from cloud environment:
Error : java.net.ProtocolException: Proxy or Server Authentication Required
Changes
On the FDMEE Server, proxy settings are enabled. To verify, go to Internet Explorer / Tools / Internet Options / Connections / LAN Settings, check if the Proxy URL is enabled under “Use automatic configuration script” or the Proxy server settings are enabled.
