OBIEE 12c: UI With a Theme Renders Incorrectly When OBIEE Is Accessed Via A Load Balancer (Doc ID 2630766.1)

Last updated on APRIL 13, 2021

Applies to:

Business Intelligence Suite Enterprise Edition - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

A custom theme is created and applied to change the logo and color scheme.

When OBIEE is accessed via a Load Balancer, the analytics User Interface does not render correctly or completely.  For example:  See the font changes, and some icons are missing. See columns and sections are overlaid on top of each other when editing a dashboard.

In the web browser Developer Tools console, the following errors / messages may be observed:

Refused to load the stylesheet 'http://<domain>/analytics/res/v-Oou4VIfeFWs/s_Alta/master/master.css' because it violates the following Content Security Policy directive: "style-src 'self' 'unsafe-inline' data:". Note that 'style-src-elem' was not explicitly set, so 'style-src' is used as a fallback.

Request URL: http://<domain>/analytics/res/v-Oou4VIfeFWs/s_Alta/master/master.css
Referrer Policy: no-referrer-when-downgrade

This issue is not encountered when OBIEE is accessed directly, that is when bypassing the Load Balancer.
