OBIEE 11g/12c: Reports When Drill-down to Detailed Report - Date Is Not Inherited In Microsoft Edge Browser Only

Goal
On Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) 12.2.1.4.0 version, Analytics
Reports when drill-down to detailed report - from date is not inherited. This behaviour is observed only in Microsoft Edge Browser.
When drilling to detailed report from summary report by clicking on a particular date, we are able to see that date in the detailed report's prompts.
Such scenario is working fine in all the other browsers except Microsoft Edge.
