Getting HTTP 403 Error After Configuring SAML2 SSO For OAS (Doc ID 2641111.1)

Symptoms

Installed OAS 5.5.0 and configured it for end-to-end SSL using a CA signed cert and JKS Keystore.

All SSL cross-checks are verified as successful. Non-SSL ports have been disabled.

Then followed Doc ID 1350125.1 to configure SAML 2.0 Service Provider for SSO and SAML2 compliant provider Shibboleth as the identity provider.

The same SAML2 configuration procedure was performed for OBIEE versions 11.1.1.9 up to and including version 12.2.1.4 and worked fine.  

But when try to access OAS, users are getting a HTTP 403 error.

Reviewed Doc ID 2226376.1, which is written to troubleshoot this 403 error with SAML2 authentication and  verified that items 1-4 in the Solution section of this document have been met.
