Symptoms

You have installed a new installation of Oracle Analytics Server (OAS).

After installation, you have exported an archive  BAR file from your Oracle Business Intelligence 12c environment and you have imported the BAR file (snapshot) via the Oracle Analytics console.

After logging in as the administrator user with BIServiceAdministrator role, and accessing the Analytics Console, you may get an error 'Insufficient Permissions' or you may notice that some of the administration widgets | tiles | icons are not accessible. In some cases, you only see 'Monitoring Deliveries' tile available.

You may also see errors in the logs, such as:

bi_server1.log
