OBIEE 11g/12c: After Editing Config Files Manually, Unable To Modify Parameters In "Enterprise Manager - Performance" Tab (Doc ID 2659190.1)

Symptoms

When trying to modify any parameter in EM Performance tab, failed with error 

The number must be between 1 and 0

Reproducible Steps:

  1. In EM, "Weblogic Domain-->System MBean Browser-->Configuration MBeans-->Expand oracle.bi.admin", try to see "BIServerConfig", PresentationServerConfig.
  2. Expand "BIServerConfig" & "PresentationServerConfig", try to see Attributes.
  3. BIServerConfig:BIServerConfig and PresentationServerConfig options were missing.

In emoms.log below errors was logged:

 [[ACTIVE] ExecuteThread: '14' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'] ERROR mbean.Assistant logp.251 - [EM-02653] error while initializing data for the BI Instance null
oracle.sysman.emai.model.bi.ModelException: Failed to get attributes (including MaxNumRowsInTableView) for bean: oracle.bi.admin:Type=PresentationServerConfig,Name=PresentationServerConfig
Caused by: javax.management.InstanceNotFoundException: oracle.bi.admin:Type=PresentationServerConfig,Name=PresentationServerConfig
