Symptoms

Upon opening Excel files (15MB or larger) and trying to add new columns with Excel functions, Excel crashes with an error: "An unhandled win32 exception occurred in EXCEL.EXE [419048]...". If the Smart View add-in is disabled, Excel does not crash.

Changes

Smart View on the applicable client machines was recently upgraded from 11.1.2.5.710 to 11.1.2.5.910. Issue did not occur before the upgrade.
