“Status Max Time“ Execution Time Limit Is Not Working As Expected (Doc ID 2683897.1)

Symptoms

“Status Max Time” is not working although it was working in OBIEE 11g.


STEPS

  1. Create a Test user in OBIEE console.
  2. Give "BI Content Author" permission to user in EM.
  3. In RPD, set "Max Time" to Enable and "Status Max Time" to "2 minutes" for the Test User
  4. Run the report.

Outcome

The report execution should have stopped after 2 min but the query is still runs for long and display the results.

 Upgraded from OBIEE 11g to 12c
