Oracle Analytics: Trying to Edit a Security Provider in the WebLogic Console Throws the Error: "The Object That You Were Viewing Has Been Deleted" (Doc ID 2691632.1)

Symptoms

On OBIEE 12.2.1.4 with FMW/WLS 12.2.1.3

In the WebLogic Server (WLS) Console (/console), see there is a Security Provider for an MS Active Directory (AD) LDAP.

AD users are visible in the WLS Console. (See Security Realms > myrealm > Users and Groups > Users)

AD users can login to OBIEE (/analytics). (See authentication and authorization are successful.)

However, when trying to edit the Security Provider in the WLS Console, the following error is thrown:-

The object that you were viewing has been deleted, either by you or another user. Please make another selection.

And, the following error is observed in the Admin Server log file:-

This issue is not encountered when trying to edit another security provider (for example, the DefaultAuthenticator) or when navigating to other pages in the WLS Console.
